Google Launching Fiber
It appears Google is getting in the ISP game and there not out to just compete, there out to win. There launching with 1GB-per second Internet with TV for only $120 a month, if you just want internet it $70 a month, if you don't want to pay a monthly fee at all you can get 5mbps internet but you'll have to pay a $300 construction fee. How other ISP will react to this remains to be seen but with options like this I think we'll see many changes soon.

YouTube Adds Face Blurring
Are you an activist in a country with some sort of crazy dictator and you want to put videos up on YouTube showing your anger but are afraid you will be prosecuted or killed, then this is the tool for you. Joking aside this is actually a useful feature that should have been added a long time ago. Some people just don't want to show there face on the internet and they don't have the tools to edit the videos themselves, even though they can't edit they may still want to publish videos and this provides a solution to this problem. The tool YouTube has added may not be perfect but it's a start to what hopefully will be a great web based YouTube editing.
